Karate is an Encounter. Not with an opponenent but with oneself. Karate is an ideal way to develop confidence, self respect, focus and discipline. In addtion to being a great workout which combines strength, cardio, flexibility (see attached photo) and practical self defence techniques Karate adds a philosophical value system to help people lead better and more wholesome lives.
At BudoCan Karate Schools, programs are designed with the age and physical level of the participant in mind.
We initiate all new karate students with a 3 part quick start program which teaches the foundation of the Martial Arts onto which we build the basic physical components of Karate and Martial Arts training. After graduating the intro program the student then joins the regular program as seen above.
